Did you know? Monday, August 17th is National Black Cat Appreciation Day.

In the US there is a superstition that black cats are bad luck, but we can tell you that’s far from the truth! We’ve had many loving and playful black cats find their Forever Homes, and we have a few more who will be looking for their new family soon! In many other countries, black cats are considered a sign of good luck. We at Humane Haven completely agree, because who wouldn’t want a sleek and clever mini-panther as part of their household?
