Paris – an HHAS success story

For those of you who have been following us for a while, you may remember Paris, our super-sweet,
happy-go-lucky, senior kitty. By all accounts, she would have fit in with any home – she was friendly and
gentle, liked pets and being brushed, and got along with other cats. But this kitty happened to be deaf
and had a little arthritis, which she got medication for. Even with all her great qualities, she was being
overlooked.

That didn’t stop us. We continued to love her, take care of her, and make sure she got the medication
and treatments she needed. All the volunteers who interacted with her loved her and her gentle
demeanor. She just needed the right family to love her as much as she wanted to love them.
With patience and persistence, that happened just before Thanksgiving, three years ago. She was
adopted into a family who had a daughter who was deaf. It was a match made in heaven.

This is what we do. This is why we do it. But we need your help to continue.

Our need for food, litter, treats, toys and monetary donations is year-round. If you want to donate
items through our Chewy.com wish list, you can do so at https://bit.ly/3qQrlb8

Again, thank you ❤ so much for your continued support as we find loving homes for our cats and
kittens.
