For The Love of Animals is BACK and available on YouTube!

As part of the safety protocols enacted by Humane Haven during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, after March 2020 we ceased filming and producing our local TV show, For The Love of Animals. The volunteers of HHAS and Bolingbrook Community Television Channel 6 are proud to announce that for November 2020, the show has returned! It was so thrilling to get back into the studio to share updates about our shelter as well as to share adoptable cats and kittens with you, we had a ton of fun making this episode and we believe that you’ll enjoy it, too.

When you click the video below you’ll meet gorgeous Elizabeth and Margaret, two 4 month old kittens who have the cutest faces and most beautiful coloring. You’ll also meet Ashley, who came to HHAS at the same time as the sisters. Fourth up is Gus, a 2-3 year old handsome fellow who has FIV and is looking for the perfect home that knows how to love him.  Ravin & Felix are bonded 7 month-old twins who depend on one another and must go home together. Could it be you that provides them with a Forever Family that supports these two little kitties? Up after that is Patches, an absolutely adorable tortoiseshell girl who is 7 months old and ready to make a new life. We close the show with Ned, a 6 month old bundle of energy, Bessie, a cow-spotted girl who is 9 months old, and Scruffy, a street rescue who is 7 months old and ready to live in the lap of luxury — which is your lap!

We also tease one of the great new items you’ll be gifted with when you adopt one of our cats or kittens! See if you can spot when!

This installment of For The Love of Animals closes with a plea for volunteers to help provide the care and love our kittens and cats deserve. With the impact that COVID-19 has had, our need for the gift of time from kind people like you is as great as ever.

We hope that you will enjoy this episode of For The Love of Animals and we are eager to see you here again for the December 2020 show!
